About the role
Ascent Classical Academy of Northern Denver is seeking a Middle School Assistant Boys Basketball Coach.
Responsibilities
- Support the Head Boys Basketball Coach in all aspects of the program
- Work closely with players, parents, and other staff members
- Assist in recruiting new players and maintaining current player relationships
- Participate in team meetings and practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field
- Experience coaching middle school boys basketball
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Qualifications
- Pass a background check
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Knowledge of middle school student development
