Sales and Business Development
Pursues new middle market-sized business clients with borrowing needs greater than $3 million and who are generally greater than $10 million in annual revenue. Generates deposit, loan, and fee revenue growth for the bank. Identifies and executes capital markets opportunities as appropriate. Promotes a full suite of banking products and services, including Treasury Management, interest rate hedging, and foreign currency exchange concepts.
Relationship Management and Client Support
Manages a portfolio typically up to $250 million, with the ability to handle the Bank’s most complex relationships, generally ranging from $10 million+ in aggregate credit exposure. Manages the Bank’s largest middle market relationships, including those involving SNC or multi-bank transactions where the Bank acts as the Agent Bank. Identifies and elevates concerns related to emerging credit quality issues and interacts with Special Assets to mitigate potential losses. Addresses client inquiries, troubleshoots issues, and provides ongoing support to assigned portfolio of clients. Prepares and maintains accurate call records of client service calls and meetings.
Compliance and Risk Management
Works closely with Credit Administration to determine initial credit worthiness and ensure adherence to bank policies. Negotiates with clients to obtain optimal terms and conditions for a mutually beneficial relationship. Oversees the proper execution of all loan documents in accordance with Bank policy and closes transactions. Works with Portfolio Management to ensure credit quality standards are met and maintained, including financial statement monitoring and past due accounts. Maintains a thorough knowledge of all Bank operating policies and procedures.
