About the Role: Assistant Manager
As a future leader of Midas, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Midas retail location operates efficiently, safely, and effectively. Responsibilities include enforcing established policies, procedures, and standards; scheduling mechanics/technicians; managing outside orders; ensuring quality and timely completion of jobs; meeting customer expectations; and maintaining team member safety.
About the Role: Service Manager
The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under-car repair services. Responsibilities include delivering timely completion of high-quality vehicle repair and maintenance, directing the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians, and Tire Technicians, staging vehicle repair/maintenance work, driving sales initiatives, communicating directly with customers, assessing customer needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Enforce established policies, procedures, and standards.
- Schedule mechanics/technicians and manage workflow.
- Ensure quality and timely completion of automotive jobs.
- Assist customers with tire selections and recommend repair services.
- Communicate with customers to assess needs and provide information on repairs/maintenance.
- Direct and stage vehicle repair/maintenance work.
- Drive sales initiatives and meet customer expectations.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience/training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, or a relevant combination of education, training, and experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift/move items weighing over 50 pounds.
