Responsibilities

  • Greeting and assisting visitors
  • Processing visitors and issuing security badges
  • Updating visit logs daily and scanning and attaching check-in form to the visit log
  • Maintaining the security of the SDL campus
  • Monitoring CCTV systems
  • Issuing parking permits
  • Ensuring security protocol is followed
  • Conducting security patrols on foot
  • Responding to alarms and emergencies
  • Providing assistance as needed during emergency response

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Active U.S. Government security clearance
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must live within local commuting distance to North Logan, Utah
  • Experience programming and issuing security badges
  • Experience operating CCTV systems
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • Able to handle and protect sensitive information
  • Able to effectively communicate and coordinate with a wide range of internal and external customers
  • Professional, friendly demeanor
  • Computer experience, Microsoft Office software, and various office equipment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and professional communication skills
  • Able to work independently, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Exceptional observation and decision-making skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Able to prioritize assignments
