Mid Shift Security Guard
Responsibilities
- Greeting and assisting visitors
- Processing visitors and issuing security badges
- Updating visit logs daily and scanning and attaching check-in form to the visit log
- Maintaining the security of the SDL campus
- Monitoring CCTV systems
- Issuing parking permits
- Ensuring security protocol is followed
- Conducting security patrols on foot
- Responding to alarms and emergencies
- Providing assistance as needed during emergency response
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Active U.S. Government security clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must live within local commuting distance to North Logan, Utah
- Experience programming and issuing security badges
- Experience operating CCTV systems
- Punctuality and reliability
- Able to handle and protect sensitive information
- Able to effectively communicate and coordinate with a wide range of internal and external customers
- Professional, friendly demeanor
- Computer experience, Microsoft Office software, and various office equipment
- Excellent verbal, written, and professional communication skills
- Able to work independently, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Exceptional observation and decision-making skills
- Organizational skills
- Able to work well under pressure
- Able to prioritize assignments
