Mid - Senior Wildlife Biologist / Project Manager - San Diego

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Mid-Senior Wildlife Biologist / Project Manager to join our team in San Diego. In this role, you will lead and manage a variety of wildlife research and conservation projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys and analyze ecological data.
• Develop management strategies to protect local wildlife populations and their habitats.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement research methodologies.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• Strong background in wildlife biology, ecology, or a related field.
• Proven project management experience.
• Proficiency in data analysis and excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Familiarity with GIS tools and software.
• Experience in conducting environmental impact assessments (highly advantageous).
• Commitment to conservation and sustainability, with a passion for wildlife research.

Schedule

Occasional travel to field sites may be required. Ability to work in various environmental conditions.
