About the role
Design and build engaging user experiences as a Mid-Level UI/UX Developer. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions across mission environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS/SCSS.
- Design and implement user interfaces using modern frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate user requirements into functional and visually appealing designs.
- Ensure application responsiveness, performance, and usability across devices and platforms.
- Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Support testing and debugging of UI components to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Requirements
- Experience developing user interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS/SCSS.
- Familiarity with modern web frameworks such as Vue.js, React, and/or Angular.
- Experience working in collaborative team environments.
- Strong understanding of front-end development best practices and responsive design.
- Experience with JavaScript unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, or Vitest and end-to-end testing tools such as Cypress (preferably).
- Experience using Git and Jira in a development workflow (preferably).
- Experience working in an Agile environment (preferably).
- Experience with web visualization frameworks such as D3.js or Cesium (preferably).
- Experience with SCSS and Bootstrap (preferably).
- Knowledge of observer design patterns utilizing RxJS or similar libraries (preferably).
- Knowledge of user-centered design principles and experience with Sketch, Figma, or equivalent design tools (preferably).
Qualifications
- Two (2) to Five (5) years of practical experience in software engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
Skills
- Experience with modern web technologies.
- Strong understanding of front-end development best practices and responsive design.
- Experience with JavaScript unit testing frameworks.
- Experience with Git and Jira.
- Experience with web visualization frameworks.
- Experience with SCSS and Bootstrap.

Pay
$75,000.00 - $95,000.00 (Commensurate with experience)
