Mid-Level Tester

About the role

Mid‑Level Tester (contract) with our client in Austin, TX. The position is hybrid, requiring three days onsite per week in Austin (within 50 mi of the city).

Requirements

• 5+ years of QA/testing experience
• 2+ years of experience with Gherkin/BDD
• Test scenario and test case development and execution using BDD/Gherkin syntax
• Execution of system, integration, end‑to‑end, and regression testing
• Basic to intermediate SQL for data validation
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience

Preferred qualifications

• ISTQB Certified Tester – Foundation Level (preferred)
• API/integration testing exposure
• Experience testing data‑grid‑heavy, Angular‑based enterprise web applications
• TxDOTCONNECT platform experience (preferred, not required)
• Relevant industry certifications (40 % of evaluation weight)

Schedule

Hybrid – three days onsite per week in Austin, TX.
