About the role
We have an immediate need for a versatile Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, sustain, and troubleshoot mission-focused software systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include feature implementation, unit/integration testing, and integrating enterprise application components with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and free/open-source software (FOSS) tools, frameworks, and libraries.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Intelligence Studies, Computer Science, Finance/Economics, or a related discipline, plus 2+ years of specialized data analytics or financial intelligence experience
- OR Master’s Degree in a related field
- OR High School Diploma / GED, plus 6+ years of hands-on intelligence analysis, financial tracking, and data discovery experience in lieu of a degree

Required Skills
- Core Java & Spring Framework: Recent hands-on software development experience using Java alongside strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Integration
- NoSQL Databases: Practical experience integrating and managing NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB
- Linux & Scripting: Strong command of the Linux CLI and tools, with experience writing Bash and Python scripts for workflow automation
- Containerization & Kubernetes: Hands-on experience with container platforms (Docker, containerd) and operational familiarity with container orchestration in Kubernetes
- Messaging Systems: Familiarity with messaging frameworks and event streaming platforms such as RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka
- CI/CD & IaC: Familiarity with continuous integration principles and tools (GitLab CI, Bamboo) and Infrastructure as Code frameworks (Ansible)
- Version Control: Proficiency with the Git source control system
Desired Skills
- Helm Package Management: Experience creating and maintaining Helm Charts to deploy containerized services into Kubernetes environments
- Agile Tooling: Practical experience using the Atlassian Tool Suite (Jira, Confluence) for collaborative task tracking and documentation
Pay
The annual base salary range for this role is $134,000-$159,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
