What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications supporting engineering and federal technology programs
  • Build analytical and decision-support tools used by engineers and technical stakeholders
  • Develop front-end interfaces, APIs, backend services, and databases
  • Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and customers to solve complex technical challenges
  • Participate in software design, architecture discussions, and technology selection
  • Improve application performance, reliability, and usability
  • Support testing, software quality, and continuous improvement efforts

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with 4–10 years of professional software development experience
  • Experience developing production-quality software applications
  • Experience with object-oriented software development
  • Experience working with databases, APIs, and modern development tools
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and technical domains
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Preferred

Skills

  • Experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Java, C++, or similar languages
  • Experience with React, Node.js, and modern web application frameworks
  • Familiarity with databases, APIs, and data-driven applications
  • Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
  • Experience with automated testing and CI/CD practices
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix development environments
  • Experience developing analytical, visualization, or technical software tools
  • Strong technical communication and presentation skills

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $94,000 – $140,000 (based on experience)
