Mid Level Software Developer

Requirements

• Fourteen (14) or more years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity or four additional years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university or four years of additional Software Engineer experience on projects with similar software processes in lieu of a degree

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of engineers to develop new capabilities supporting front-end processing of data for a mission-critical tool
• Support modernization of front-end processing services
• Assist in modernizing malware analysis and develop techniques for metadata storage to support knowledge management for national security systems
• Explore new technologies and prototype new mission tools and analytics
• Develop new algorithms and innovative techniques to address mission-related problems

Skills

• Strong understanding of enterprise services such as NiFi
• Knowledge of Cloud Service provider offerings, specifically AWS and Azure
• Strong knowledge of data flow processing and data transformation
• Working knowledge of Python, Java, Groovy, and Bash scripting
• Working knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Bicep
• Proficiency in Kubernetes containerization, orchestration, and scaling
• Strong skills in service integration

Pay

The proposed salary range for this position is $170,400 – $200,300. Final salary may vary based on geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
