About the role
A dynamic opportunity for a Mid Level SOC Operations Analyst to join a leading defense contractor. This role requires a DoD TS clearance.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events in real-time
- Develop and maintain security policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security standards
- Respond to security incidents and perform forensic analysis
- Conduct security assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
Requirements
- DoD TS clearance required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations
- Experience with SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of network architecture and protocols
- Experience with incident response and forensics
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks
Skills
- Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity concepts
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
