About the role

Holland & Knight is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Real Estate – Mid South practice in Nashville, Tennessee. The ideal candidate will work as part of a highly regarded team with a strong and longstanding history, offering substantive training, hands-on experience, and meaningful opportunities for professional growth and advancement in a collegial environment with a broad international platform.

The practice primarily represents real estate end users, with limited lender-side work; any financing matters are generally focused on borrower-side representation.

Responsibilities

• Handle sophisticated real estate matters, including acquisitions, leasing, and divestitures
• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, reciprocal easement agreements, and related development and governance documents
• Work on real estate finance transactions, primarily from the borrower-side perspective

Requirements

• 3–5 years of sophisticated real estate experience with immediately transferable skills
• Strong drafting and writing skills, with close attention to detail
• Solid work ethic and a strong academic background
• Active member of the Tennessee Bar or ability to waive in
• Must reside in the Nashville area by the time of hire
• Ability to work in the office at least three business days per week
