Position Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage PKI solutions to support secure communications and data protection across the organization
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and documentation related to PKI operations, including certificate lifecycle management
- Monitor and troubleshoot PKI systems to ensure high availability and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PKI solutions into existing systems and applications
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses related to PKI and cryptographic systems
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams regarding PKI best practices and security measures
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to PKI and cybersecurity
- Drive our PKI automation strategy with continual improvements in our security posture
- Aid in training and mentoring junior staff on PKI concepts and practices
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- 3+ years of experience in PKI operations, including certificate lifecycle management
- 3+ years of experience managing SSL/TLS certificates and security best practices
- Willingness to work off hours for team members located outside US and provide on-call support for Production Releases
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Experience working cross-functionally with all levels from individual contributors to executives
- Experience with Axway Validation Authority
- Experience with code-signing, S/MIME certificates, JavaBeans Certificate Authority (EJBCA), Hardware Security Module (HSM), Internet Information Service (IIS), and Apache
- Experience with Intercede MyID, KeyFactor Command, Microsoft Certification Authorities, PowerShell, Python, and Splunk
