Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are searching for a Mid - Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our growing Professional Design Services team in our Huntsville, AL office. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience, a strong understanding of applied HVAC and plumbing systems, and a desire to grow, collaborate, and innovate.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and leading the design and analysis of HVAC systems
• Mentoring junior staff
• Contributing to proposal development
• Involvement in a variety of multidisciplinary projects across multiple sectors, including government, industrial, and corporate clients

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university
• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience (internship and professional experience included)
• PE license is a strong plus; EIT certification preferred with plans on obtaining PE license in near future
• Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM software
• Experience with HVAC system design and analysis
• Experience leading projects, mentoring junior staff, and supporting proposals preferred
• Strong ability to work well within a team, maintain a positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivate to produce high-quality work
• Demonstrated interest in continuous learning and professional growth
