About the role
The Mid-Level Government & Capital Property Management Specialist (Level 3) is responsible for ensuring compliance with contract provisions and enhancing property management processes. This role involves working closely with engineering and shop personnel to manage property and support ongoing projects.
Responsibilities
- Administers contract provisions for property acquisition, control, use, care, reporting, and disposal.
- Performs audits, documents processes, investigates, and reports on lost or damaged property.
- Supports property management by providing expertise, concepts, and formats to improve information management through the use of off-the-shelf software or Boeing system tools.
- Maintains accountability from initial acquisition to final disposition.
- Tracks property movement and coordinates documentation to comply with government regulations, customer contracts, or corporate policy.
- Determines property acquisition requirements, product availability, and authority to fulfill company, program, or contractual obligations.
- Ensures property is allowable, reasonable, allocable, and utilized according to company or contract requirements.
- Coordinates physical inventory of property and reconciles results to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Verifies equipment servicing requirements and ensures work is scheduled and performed in accordance with applicable regulations, contracts, or industry standards.
- Reviews records for accuracy and processes for compliance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Participates in the development and implementation of tools, processes, and procedures.
- Handles disposition of property as required by company, legal, or contractual requirements.
- Completes all property-related activities at contract conclusion, including disposition of property.
- Safeguards inventory adjustments, liability determinations, and title issues.
- Develops and implements tools, processes, and procedures.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing either government contracts or government programs.
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience using lean principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
- 3+ years of experience with inventory management information systems or database applications.
- 3+ years of experience with PMSA (Property Management System Analysis) audits.
- Previous experience with GOLD, Property Management system for tool classification, status, location, and accountability, or related system.
- Experience with CAPRS (Common Automated Procurement Request System).
- Familiarity with U.S. Government Federal Acquisition Regulations.

$85,000 - $115,000 USD
Schedule
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
