About the Role

SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Software Developer to support our DoD IAC operation. This is a short-term project with an expected duration of 3-4 months. You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community.

Location: Remote
Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain Secret Clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
Travel: 5%

Responsibilities

• Planning with UI/UX designers to help produce wireframes, storyboards, and UI flow charts
• Working with a project manager to set deadlines and evaluate progress
• Writing efficient code using standard practices
• Working independently and in a team environment as required
• Maintaining software documentation, changelogs, and user guides
• Responding to software change requests (SCR) and performing a security impact assessment
• Deploying code to development and production environments
• Documenting information, experiences, and lessons-learned to increase efficiency of the software development processes
• Azure or AWS deployment of web application to an Impact Level 4 (IL4) Azure cloud environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related Field of Study and 3+ years of relevant experience

Desired Experience

• 3-5 years of experience with relational database architecture such as MySQL or MariaDB
• 3-5 years of API design experience using JavaScript or JavaScript API frameworks (NodeJS)
• 3-5 years of experience with user interface design and implementation using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JS frameworks (Angular or React)

Pay

$65/HR - $75/HR depending on experience and education
