Position Responsibilities
- Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions
- Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces
- Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture
- Performs analysis for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success
- Develops, maintains and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes
- Solves cross-functional technical issues
- Utilizes data analytics to track trends, coordinate maintenance, and influence parts replacement cycles
- Works with suppliers, subject matter experts, and field support representatives to identify aircraft availability and health of fleet improvements
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- Active U.S. Security Clearance
- 5+ years of engineering experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- Aircraft maintenance experience
- Experience with reliability calculations and terms (i.e. MTBR, MTBF, MTBM, NMC-M, NMC-S, RTOK)
- Experience with supply concepts and interface with supply analysis
- Experience with predictive analysis
- Experience with aircraft driven fault reporting
- Experience with Mail Exchange (MX) code generation i.e Atlas database and/or other databases
- Experience with basic programming, Visual Basic Application (VBA) use with Access and Excel
- Experience working directly with one, or preferably more, of the following aircraft subsystems: Radar, Life Support, Auxiliary Power Supply, Fire Prevention, Environmental Control Systems
- Experience with database architecture and Front Ends (i.e. Tableau), Structured Query Language (SQL), block flow diagrams, aircraft maintenance flow activities
