Mid-Level Electrical Engineer- Industrial Buildings

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to join our Industrial Center of Excellence (CoE) team. Responsibilities

• Support and execute electrical engineering design for a variety of industrial projects, including advanced manufacturing, food & beverage, life sciences, semiconductor, battery manufacturing, and mission-critical facilities.
• Design and develop electrical systems including:
  • Power distribution systems
  • Emergency and standby power systems
  • Lighting and lighting control systems
  • Fire alarm and life safety systems
  • Grounding and lightning protection systems
  • Industrial electrical infrastructure and controls
• Perform engineering calculations and prepare technical specifications, construction documents, drawings, and reports.
• Coordinate electrical designs with multidisciplinary project teams, including mechanical, structural, plumbing, process, and controls engineers.
• Support projects through all phases of delivery, from planning and design through construction administration and project closeout.
• Conduct site visits, field investigations, and construction support activities to verify existing conditions and support design implementation
