Mid-Level DevOps & Operations Engineer
About the role
We have an immediate need for a DevOps Engineer to serve as the automation engine for our software and data engineering practices. In this high-visibility role, you will help shift legacy, manual system security evaluation processes to an automated model emphasizing continuous integration, real-time assessment, and network data gathering across the entire project lifecycle. You will facilitate infrastructure management, streamline build/deployment pipelines, optimize environment configurations, and uphold a robust security and compliance posture so that cross-functional development teams can operate smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Configure, optimize, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) systems (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Automate environment provisioning, application deployment, and continuous configuration updates.
- Integrate security controls, vulnerability scanning, or compliance automation into software delivery pipelines.
- Manage Git version control, including branching strategies, pull requests, and release workflows.
Requirements
- Active security clearance at the TS/SCI polygraph level is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Intelligence Studies, Computer Science, Finance/Economics, or a related discipline, plus 7+ years of specialized data analytics or financial intelligence experience OR High School Diploma / GED, plus 11+ years of hands-on intelligence analysis, financial tracking, and data discovery experience in lieu of a degree.
- Demonstrated experience with Linux CLI and scripting (Bash or Python) for process automation.

Pay
The annual base salary range for this role is $159,000–$188,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation.
