Mid-Level DevOps Engineer

About the role

The Mid-Level DevOps Engineer will support our Huntsville, AL location. This position requires 5 years of experience with AWS, Docker, ALB, Terraform, CloudFormation, Databricks, AWS Redis, Springboot, PKI, and travel of up to 10%. An active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required to perform this work. Candidates must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required. Additional experience can substitute for education.

Responsibilities

• Supports the development and maintenance of cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, and Lambda.
• Develops and maintains Docker images and Kubernetes deployments.
• Configures and manages AWS resources using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Manages and optimizes database performance using Databricks and AWS Redis.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure PKI solutions.
• Supports the development and deployment of microservices using Springboot.
• Ensures compliance with security policies and standards.
• Participates in code reviews and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience with AWS, Docker, ALB, Terraform, CloudFormation, Databricks, AWS Redis, Springboot, PKI, and travel of up to 10%.
