Job Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and recommend available database management system products to support validated user requirements.
  • Define file organization, indexing methods, and security procedures for specific user/applications.
  • Maintain Oracle systems on a Linux operating system and (also desired MS SQL databases admin experience) on day-to-day basis.
  • Perform backup and recovery operations for servers.
  • Perform quality control of ingest and transform processes and products produced.
  • Responsible for rudimentary Linux systems administrative functions.
  • Responsible for entity relational diagrams and documentation of Oracle configuration.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-6 years of information technology experience.
  • 4+ years of Oracle database administration experience.
  • 3+ years of Linux administration experience.
  • Multiple Information Technology certifications.
  • Knowledge of Government-wide system design, information technology equipment and services.
  • BS degree at minimum, experience can be substituted in some cases in lieu of BS degree at the discretion of the government.

Clearance

Active TOP SECRET clearance required and must undergo background investigation and a drug test. Must be a US Citizen.
