LJB Engineering is a national, multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm with business lines in Transportation, Water Resources, Geospatial and Site Design, Buildings Structure Design, and Safety/Fall Protection Design/Installation. We serve clients across the United States and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Develop engineering designs for projects from preliminary concepts through final design.
- Prepare specifications, cost estimates, and final bid packages.
- Coverage with client technical staff and project managers throughout project delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers in the development of final design and construction plans.
- Coordinate design activities and meetings among design staff, subcontractors, and client managers.
- Contribute to project decisions related to technical approaches, cost, and schedule performance.
- Participate in professional organizations and industry-related activities.
Requirements
- MID-LEVEL DESIGN ENGINEER ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Professional Engineer (PE) license, 4–9 years of relevant engineering design experience.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working with state or local DOTs, proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
