Mid-Level Business Immigration Associate
About the role
Greenberg Traurig has an opening in its New Jersey office for a Mid-Level Immigration Attorney with five or more years of experience specifically in business immigration, including extensive experience in I-9 Compliance, DOL, DHS and DOJ audits as well as experience with nonimmigrant (H1B, L-1, TN, O1, etc.) and immigrant visas and PERM applications. Additional requirements include excellent client service and communication skills, case management, productivity, well-developed organizational skills and advanced writing and analytical skills. Experience managing a large client base is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Handle complex business immigration matters, including I-9 Compliance, DOL, DHS and DOJ audits
- Manage nonimmigrant (H1B, L-1, TN, O1, etc.) and immigrant visa cases and PERM applications
- Provide exceptional client service and communication skills
- Manage case files efficiently and effectively
- Develop and maintain strong organizational skills
- Write and analyze legal documents with precision
- Work collaboratively with a team of experienced immigration attorneys and professionals
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in business immigration
- Extensive experience in I-9 Compliance, DOL, DHS and DOJ audits
- Experience with nonimmigrant (H1B, L-1, TN, O1, etc.) and immigrant visas and PERM applications
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Well-developed organizational skills
- Advanced writing and analytical skills
- Experience managing a large client base is a plus
Qualifications
- Law degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to practice law in New Jersey
- Passionate about immigration law

Pay
The expected pay range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Schedule
Full-time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
