About the role

Greenberg Traurig has an opening in its New Jersey office for a Mid-Level Immigration Attorney with five or more years of experience specifically in business immigration, including extensive experience in I-9 Compliance, DOL, DHS and DOJ audits as well as experience with nonimmigrant (H1B, L-1, TN, O1, etc.) and immigrant visas and PERM applications. Additional requirements include excellent client service and communication skills, case management, productivity, well-developed organizational skills and advanced writing and analytical skills. Experience managing a large client base is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Handle complex business immigration matters, including I-9 Compliance, DOL, DHS and DOJ audits
  • Manage nonimmigrant (H1B, L-1, TN, O1, etc.) and immigrant visa cases and PERM applications
  • Provide exceptional client service and communication skills
  • Manage case files efficiently and effectively
  • Develop and maintain strong organizational skills
  • Write and analyze legal documents with precision
  • Work collaboratively with a team of experienced immigration attorneys and professionals

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in business immigration
  • Extensive experience in I-9 Compliance, DOL, DHS and DOJ audits
  • Experience with nonimmigrant (H1B, L-1, TN, O1, etc.) and immigrant visas and PERM applications
  • Excellent client service and communication skills
  • Well-developed organizational skills
  • Advanced writing and analytical skills
  • Experience managing a large client base is a plus

Qualifications

  • Law degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to practice law in New Jersey
  • Passionate about immigration law

Pay

The expected pay range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Schedule

Full-time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
