Mid-Level Auto Painter

About the role

We’re looking for Auto Painters with a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive painting experience to join Carvana, the fastest‑growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history. As a Mid‑Level Painter you will match and mix paint colors and use water‑based paint to paint vehicles inside our paint booths.

Responsibilities

• Match and mix paint colors to exact specifications.
• Apply water‑based paint to vehicles within paint booths.
• Maintain and operate state‑of‑the‑art painting tools and equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional automotive painting experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and lift up to 60 lb independently.
• At least 18 years of age and a valid driver’s license (subject to Motor Vehicle Records check).
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing production environment, including exposure to extreme weather conditions.
• Use of required safety equipment such as face shield or goggles, non‑slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
