Mid Level Angular Developer

About the role

CGI is actively seeking an Angular Developer to help modernize user interfaces integrated with the Momentum suite supporting government financials. The role is available in Washington, D.C. and Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining both new and existing Angular and Java based applications.
• Tracing through software defects, enhancing existing applications, or developing new solutions.
• Collaborating with fellow developers, engineers, and business analysts to design, develop, test, and deploy solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Requirements

• Academic background in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar major with extensive computer-based or technical content.
• 3+ years of relevant development experience, with a focus on Angular development.
• Experience with a mixture of AngularJS 1.X, Angular 2.0+, TypeScript, Spring, SpringBoot, Java, Oracle SQL/PostgreSQL.
• Experience with GIT source control.
• Ability to bring projects to completion in a timely manner.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to learn and understand the nature of business.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Skills in HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap.
• Familiarity with SOAP/REST.
• Knowledge of Momentum Financials/Acquisitions.
• Skills in HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap.
• Experience working under Agile methodology.
• Familiarity with JIRA ERP software experience.
• Effective communication with non-technical staff and members of interdisciplinary teams.
