We are seeking a motivated and experienced MID Intake Evaluator to work in a community behavioral health and addiction setting, providing services to individuals referred to the Massachusetts Impaired Driving Program.

About the role

The MID Intake Evaluator will complete comprehensive assessments for court-mandated or RMV-referred individuals, orient new patients to the MID program, and handle supporting documentation at the first meeting. You will collaborate with administrative staff, clinic leadership, clinical supervisors, and a team of clinicians and MID Educators to ensure a smooth transition from enrollment to ongoing treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Complete a Massachusetts standardized biopsychosocial comprehensive assessment and corresponding addendums during the first meeting
  • Administer required evidence-based screening tools (nicotine assessment, Tuberculosis screening, health risk assessment)
  • Prepare court evaluation letters during assessments for probation officers and/or referral sources
  • Complete required administrative documentation (authorizations, consents, agreements, acknowledgements, enrollment forms)
  • Ensure all documentation meets regulatory standards and is completed in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with the Billing Department regarding payment options
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes
  • Serve as a liaison to relevant service systems, state agencies, and community partners
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local, state, federal, and private agencies to promote programs and secure partnerships or funding
  • Pursue professional development through conferences, classes, and representation of the agency
  • Attend and participate in statewide meetings, task forces, and committees related to your expertise
  • Promote and integrate the agency’s mission, values, philosophy, and principles
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director and/or Assistant Clinic Director

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health and addiction field (required)
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) candidates preferred (additional compensation offered)
  • 24 hours of minimum productivity per week
  • Completion of agency and clinic training
  • Attendance at clinic group meetings and individual supervision

Pay

$19 - $21 per hour
