Mid Cities Service - Customer Service Assistant - Part time

Responsibilities

• Assist in unloading merchandise from baskets.
• Package groceries and assist customers in transporting and unloading groceries to their vehicles.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Gather baskets and pick up trash inside and outside the store.
• Maintain and stock bag areas.
• Return products to proper locations.
• Stock and stage bags; stock check stand supplies.
• Distribute Buddy bucks to registers and replace anti-fatigue mats.
• Perform carts and parts basket relocation and power-washing basket relocation for department setup.
• Conduct red basket fill up and retrieval.
• Clean, mop, dust, sweep, and vacuum check stand area, Return Center, and CCO area to maintain store cleanliness and safety.

• Education: Completion of Company Orientation and Basics of Safety training (upon hire).

• Function in a fast-paced, retail environment, performing detailed and precise tasks.
• Work with customers, staying attentive to their needs.
• Constantly reach at waist and grasp.
• Frequently stand and walk.
• Occasionally reach overhead, reach at shoulder, reach at knee, reach at floor, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, stair climb, pivot, twist, push/pull with arms, pinch, and perform fine motor movements.
• Occasionally be exposed to cold, hot, loud noises, ambient temperatures, and wet conditions.
• Demonstrate the ability to lift 55 lbs and manage more than 55 lbs (up to 100 lbs).
• If an item is too heavy to lift, push, pull, or carry, break the box down into lighter, smaller components or ask for assistance.
