Responsibilities
- Provide programmatic and technical leadership for transit engineering disciplines
- Deliver project management for a variety of transit engineering related contracts (track, structures, facilities, and systems) for our clients
- Guide program growth, client engagement, and industry involvement
- Establish client relations and be involved with marketing and client development activities
- Prepare scopes and fees for a variety of contracts and projects
- Collaborate with other disciplines on staff assignments and assignment priorities
- Perform contract management
- Team growth and mentorship of junior staff
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field
- 10 years of experience
- Committed to quality, improvement and HDR values
- Maintains a professional or engineering registration and has related technical experience
- Experienced in development and management of diverse teams
- Works cooperatively with other area business class leaders, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers on business class efforts
Qualifications
- Actively engaged in professional or industry associations to enhance HDR technical expertise and brand
- Knowledge of applicable Federal, state, and local standards and requirements related to transit-focused project delivery processes such as conceptual design and feasibility, environmental documentation, preparation of Plan, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E), and providing Design Support During Construction (DSDC)
