Job Description

Aids in providing instructional support services to enable the 480 ISRW to achieve its mission through integration of evolving courseware design methodologies and information technologies with the Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) concept of operations and AET utilization.

  • Conducts in-residence academic classroom instruction.
  • Administers performance tests, written tests, special instructional assistance, and hands-on lab instruction.
  • Conducts appraisals, simulation/exercise events, collects student feedback, and updates training status.
  • Shares knowledge about DCGS products and instructional methods to enhance realism and relevance in training.
  • Provides expertise in course content and scenario development to create an operational learning environment.
  • Utilizes LMS technologies and training assessment/evaluation systems.
  • Coordinates white cells and provides technical support for Capstone exercises and performance checks.
  • Performs detailed Quality Assurance reviews of courseware content.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System and mission-related analytic tools.
  • Familiarity with all-source intelligence and ISR operations.
  • Understanding of intelligence processes and organizational responsibilities within the AF and Intelligence Community.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to peers and non-technical management staff.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Desired Qualifications

  • Air Force instructor certification.
  • Experience working within an AET.
  • Understanding of Instructional Systems Design (ISD) strategies and authoring tools.
  • Scenario development and exercise planning and execution experience.
