Microsoft SQL DBaaS Engineer - TS/SCI w/Polygraph

About the role

A Microsoft SQL DBaaS Engineer is needed to support Government activities in Annapolis Junction, MD, or Sterling, VA.

Responsibilities

• Guide users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies
• Analyzing user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications
• Leading design and development activities
• Assessing or preparing system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
• Maintaining and managing the enterprise SQL server farms and stand-alone databases
• Interacting with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts
• Providing the documentation, testing, and maintenance of system updates, modifications, and configurations

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline + 8 years’ experience or the equivalent combination of education, technical certification or training, or work/military experience
• Engineering experience in the design, development and implementation of software development tools
• Experience creating quality Detailed Design documents, Test Plans, Implementation Plans and Standard Operating Procedures
• Experience with cloud/server/network implementation and with Cloud infrastructure Services or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) support
• Engineering experience with Microsoft Active Directory including: Granting privileged Access, Configuring Active Directory Services (ADDS), Group Policy, Objects, Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), File Sharing services, Active roles Server (ARS)

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $147,292 - $199,278. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
