Microsoft Power Platform Software Engineer

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Front-End development:
    • Designing and developing user-facing applications using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps).
    • Creating intuitive data entry forms, dashboards, and mobile-friendly user interfaces.
    • Developing applications that function in both connected and offline environments.
    • Testing applications and supporting documentation development.
    • Working directly with Government stakeholders to refine user stories and implement requested functionality.
  • Back-End development:
    • Designing and maintaining Dataverse data architecture.
    • Developing Power Automate workflows and business process automation.
    • Configuring security roles and data access.
    • Integrating Power Platform solutions with external systems using APls and Azure services.
    • Supporting deployment, troubleshooting, optimization, and application lifecycle management.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems)
  • Experience: 0-7 years of experience.
