Microsoft Intune Architect

About the role

We are seeking a subject matter expert in Intune and enterprise mobility management. This role will lead the review, hardening, and scaling of iOS application deployments. The position involves assessing and optimizing existing Intune configurations, implementing operational best practices, and building the necessary testing, monitoring, and observability capabilities to support enterprise-scale deployments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive review of existing Microsoft Intune configurations, including app deployment profiles, protection policies, and configuration policies.
• Identify configuration gaps, operational risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Implement recommendations to enhance security, reliability, scalability, and deployment consistency.
• Design and implement repeatable deployment processes for enterprise iOS applications.
• Establish documented standards for application deployments, updates, phased rollouts, and recovery procedures.
• Build and manage a pre-release validation framework for Intune-managed deployments.
• Design and implement monitoring and observability solutions to provide visibility into deployment success rates, policy compliance, and fleet health.
• Serve as the primary advisor for Microsoft Intune and enterprise mobility management initiatives.

Requirements

• Technical Expertise: Experience implementing, configuring, and scaling Microsoft Intune within enterprise environments. Understanding of Mobile Device Management (MDM), including device enrollment, authentication, and security best practices. Expertise supporting enterprise-scale iOS application deployments through Intune. Knowledge of the Apple enterprise ecosystem, including Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Volume Purchase Program (VPP).
• Enterprise Operations Experience: Experience supporting large enterprise customers with complex device management requirements. Success in building scalable deployment processes, operational frameworks, and governance models. Experience creating dashboards, monitoring solutions, alerts, and operational documentation.
• Consulting & Communication Skills: Ability to advise internal stakeholders on Intune strategy, architecture, and deployment best practices. Stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. Written and verbal communication skills to address both business and technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with organizations that provide enterprise-grade mobile applications or device management solutions.
• Experience supporting enterprise mobility management (EMM) programs at scale.
• Background working closely with product, engineering, customer support, and customer success organizations.
• Experience driving device-management modernization, operational maturity, and deployment automation initiatives.
