Responsibilities

• Teach advanced Excel concepts, including spreadsheet design, formulas (VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, IF, SUMIFS, array formulas), pivot tables, data visualization, conditional formatting, data validation, macros, and basic VBA programming.
• Explain cell referencing, formula nesting, and data analysis workflows for business, finance, and data analysis applications.
• Guide students in building complex formulas, creating and customizing pivot tables, designing charts, automating tasks with macros, and managing large datasets.
• Emphasize practical business applications, connecting Excel skills to financial modeling, budgeting, inventory management, and data reporting.
• Adapt instruction using hands-on exercises, progressive formula challenges, and project-based dashboards for learners at all levels.
• Identify and address common student challenges (e.g., absolute vs. relative cell references, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, pivot tables).
• Use multiple teaching approaches to accommodate different learning styles and needs.

Requirements

• Advanced mastery of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data visualization, macros, and basic VBA.
• Ability to teach formula construction, data organization, and analytical dashboard creation.
• Familiarity with Excel training curricula and common student challenges.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Ability to adapt instruction to individual learning needs and styles.
