Microsoft D365 F&O Technical Architect

Job Summary

The Emerging ERP Solutions practice specializes in bringing clients the best cloud-based ERP applications such as Workday Financials, Microsoft D365 F&O, and Infor. We assist in transforming finance and supply-chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Our teams leverage Deloitte’s extensive expertise to deliver lasting results for our clients. We collaborate closely with CFOs, CIOs, and Business Unit leaders across various industries.

Responsibilities

• Understand client business objectives and present technical solutions leveraging Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations ERP’s strengths.
• Design end-to-end solutions, offering best industry practices, reviewing functional and technical design documents, and providing recommendations.
• Lead the activities of one of the project’s workstreams, managing tasks such as planning, design sessions, software configuration, coordination with other workstreams, tracking progress, overseeing testing, and managing risks, actions, issues, and decisions.
• Provide deep domain expertise in one or more vertical industries, building credibility with customers and prospects.
• Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that effectively utilize the platforms and products.
• Develop and maintain tools and assets, improve delivery processes, select software and ISVs, and train on new versions and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or equivalent relevant experience (10 years).
• 10+ years of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and/or AX developer experience, including integration development.
• 6+ years of team lead experience.
• Experience with Azure (Logic Apps, Functions), Power Apps, Azure DevOps, or Visual Studio.
• Experience modifying Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations across modules.
• Experience with data migration tools and processes within Dynamics 365.
• Client development and pre-sales experience.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in two or more of the following technologies: Azure (Logic Apps, Functions), Power Apps, Azure DevOps, or Visual Studio.
