CV Resources is partnering with an innovative engineering and manufacturing organization in Boise to hire a Microsoft Cloud & Security Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT professional who enjoys owning a Microsoft cloud environment, improving security, and partnering with leadership to support a growing organization.

About the role

This full-time, 100% onsite position in Boise, ID offers a compensation range of $100k–$115k. The role involves administering and securing a Microsoft cloud environment while collaborating with IT leadership on long-term initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain the Microsoft cloud environment, including Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
  • Manage users, groups, devices, and Conditional Access policies.
  • Administer Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Power Platform.
  • Develop PowerShell scripts and Power Automate workflows to improve efficiency.
  • Manage endpoint security using Microsoft Defender and Intune.
  • Implement and maintain MFA, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and security best practices.
  • Monitor and respond to support requests and security-related issues.
  • Deploy patches, compliance policies, and security baselines.
  • Document configurations, procedures, and system changes.
  • Provide advanced technical support and collaborate with IT leadership on long-term technology initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Microsoft cloud administration experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, Defender, Conditional Access, and endpoint security.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting experience.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft certifications such as SC-300, MS-102, AZ-104, SC-500, or SC-900.
  • Experience with Power Automate.
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust security principles.
  • Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, or other regulated environments.
