About the role
The Office of Technology and Innovation (OTI) enables the DMHC to deliver essential services to the State of California using Information Technology (IT). OTI develops, maintains, and supports multiple IT systems that include a vast variety of office automation tools, custom applications, public and internal web sites, business intelligence tools, and the underlying IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Supports the development and maintenance of IT systems and applications.
- Maintains and troubleshoots office automation tools and custom applications.
- Ensures the security and integrity of IT systems and data.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement new IT solutions.
- Provides technical support to users as needed.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Experience with Microsoft cloud platforms and technologies.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Qualifications
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and related tools.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
Skills
Essential Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office products.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

$6,513.00 - $10,537.00 per Month
Schedule
The position may be eligible for hybrid telework, subject to operational needs and the State Telework Policy.
