Microbulk Service Technician

About the role

This role involves frequent travel to customer sites to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on Microbulk units in the field. Responsibilities include installing cryogenic micro bulk systems and piping, diagnosing problems, managing warehouse and service truck inventory, arranging shipments, conducting site surveys, adhering to safety policies, and responding to unplanned service outcalls.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations of cryogenic micro bulk systems and piping at client locations
• Diagnose problems, failures, and identify replacement needs
• Repair various items, systems, and/or components of Microbulk units
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition after repairs
• Perform routine and periodic preventive maintenance to maintain equipment functionality
• Manage and execute multiple tasks and prioritize as necessary
• Conduct site surveys to ensure project adherence to NFPA, local codes, and Linde standards
• Adhere to Linde safety policies and procedures
• Manage and execute multiple tasks and prioritize as necessary
• Respond to unplanned service outcalls

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED
• Basic tool knowledge and mechanical aptitude (plus)
• Experience in pipe fitting, brazing, and knowledge of compression fittings (plus)
• Strong communication skills and initiative, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and teamwork skills (plus)
• Pipe and tube bending (plus)
• Basic computer skills, including basic Microsoft Office knowledge
• A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (required)
• No DUI/DWI or other alcohol (driving) related convictions within the last ten (10) years (required)
• Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted (required)

Pay

$25.78 - $37.81 per hour
