Clinical, Microbiome & Translational Research Scientist (PhD) Job Type: Contractor Location: Remote - Worldwide Job Summary We are seeking experienced research scientists to support an AI training project focused on microbiome science, clinical bioinformatics, and translational research. Contributors will develop scientific problems, evaluate AI-generated outputs, and provide expert feedback. Required Skills Microbiology and Bioinformatics Microbiome and Metagenomics Analysis Clinical and Translational Research Python and R Programming Statistical Analysis and Machine Learning Biomarker Discovery and Clinical Genomics Scientific Writing and Literature Review Analytical Reasoning and Documentation Responsibilities Develop challenging scientific problems with verifiable solutions. Evaluate AI outputs for scientific accuracy and reasoning. Create reference answers and assessment rubrics. Analyze microbiome, genomic, and clinical datasets. Document findings and participate in peer reviews. Qualifications PhD in Microbiology, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Immunology, Epidemiology, or a related field. Hands-on academic or industry research experience. Professional written and spoken English proficiency (C1 or higher). Preferred Qualifications Postdoctoral or industry research experience. Experience with QIIME2, Kraken2, MetaPhlAn, HUMAnN, or clinical genomics tools. Publications in relevant scientific journals. Knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, and high-dimensional biological data analysis.
