Key Responsibilities
- Collect and prepare samples for microbiological analysis in accordance with established procedures.
- Perform media inspections and growth promotion testing.
- Conduct bacterial endotoxin, particulate matter, sterility, and filter integrity testing, including method suitability studies.
- Track and manage test samples to ensure accurate documentation and timely processing.
- Support laboratory organization and cleanliness, including proper lab waste disposal and storage management.
- Comply with all procedural and regulatory guidelines related to controlled substances.
- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives and ensure the integrity of testing, manufacturing, certification, and product release processes.
- Follow all company safety procedures and assist in training new employees on laboratory safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment at all times.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
- Prior experience in a pharmaceutical quality control or microbiology laboratory setting preferred, especially in environments regulated by cGMP standards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to focus on detailed tasks for extended periods and strictly adhere to established safety and quality protocols.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
