Responsibilities
- Converse with advanced language models on lab scenarios and theoretical microbiology questions.
- Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness of model responses.
- Capture reproducible error traces during interactions.
- Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
Requirements
- A PhD in microbiology or a closely related life-science field.
- Peer-reviewed publications, wet-lab or field research, or hands-on laboratory diagnostics projects.
- Clear, metacognitive communication skills.
Qualifications
Expertise in bacteriology, virology, parasitology, mycology, microbial genetics, antibiotic resistance, microbial pathogenesis, environmental microbiology, industrial microbiology, and microbial ecology.
Skills
Strong understanding of host-pathogen interactions, culture techniques, microbial metabolism, clinical microbiology diagnostics, PCR and qPCR methodologies, sterile technique protocols, biosafety procedures, and the role of microbiomes in health and disease.
Pay
A pay range of $6-to-$65 per hour, with the exact rate determined after evaluating your experience, expertise, and geographic location. Final offer amounts may vary from the pay range listed above.
