Microbiology Instructor

About the role

Jersey College is seeking adjunct part-time instructors to join our Nursing Program. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to the success of their students.

Responsibilities

• Preparing student progress reports and grade reports
• Maintaining accurate and timely attendance records
• Evaluating student competence based on program philosophy and objectives
• Implementing evaluation devices of student learning and clinical experience to measure progress and competency
• Attending faculty meetings
• Maintaining professional qualifications through participation in continuing education programs, in-service training, and academic courses
• Performing other duties as required by the program director, program dean, or campus administration

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 15 semester hours or 23 quarter hours in the teaching discipline from an accredited school
• Master degree is preferred
• Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required

• Ability to supervise students in the clinical environment
• Ability to deliver an effective lesson on the level of an RN or PN student

Adjunct Part time - Start ASAP - - Hours are Fridays 11:30am-2:30pm and a Lab 2:30pm-4:00pm
