About the role
We are seeking a motivated Scientist to join our Assay Team, focusing on running established assays to identify metals in mining samples.
Responsibilities
- Manage and organize mining samples and registration for assays
- Perform cell-based assays to detect metals
- Provide feedback and suggest improvements for methodologies
- Prepare assay materials weekly
- Collaborate with the AI Data Team for data registration and documentation
- Ensure timely achievement of milestones
- Document processes and results in an Electronic Lab Notebook system
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Microbiology, Bioengineering, Molecular Biology, or related fields
- At least 1 year of assay execution experience, industry preferred
- Ability to work independently and multitask
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented record keeper
- Comfortable in a fast-paced lab environment
- Willing to travel to the Woburn, MA office
