About the role

This position is 100% onsite at Keysight located at 1900 Garden of the Gods Road; Colorado Springs, CO 80907. The position is contract-based for 23 months and requires working Monday through Friday for 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Removing micro burrs from milled and/or turned parts following existing procedures.
• Developing new procedures and techniques with the aid of machinists and engineers.
• Operating a heat treat furnace following existing processes and procedures.
• Inspect incoming parts for quality and adherence to part specifications.
• Perform other tasks as required.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in a similar role is a plus.
• Ability to sit and look through a microscope for long periods of time.
• Detail oriented with the highest standards of quality.
• High dexterity to manipulate small objects.
• Excellent eye-hand coordination.
• Flexibility upon priority changes.
• Knowledge of machine processes a plus.
• Willingness to question anything that does not make sense or may be in error.

Pay & Benefits

The compensation for this position is $21.50/hour - $21.50/hour W-2. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, and a 401K plan (provided minimum eligibility hours are met).
