Michigan Facility Needs a Locums Obstetrics Gynecologist

About the role

Locum tenens OB/GYN assignment with full-scope obstetric and gynecologic coverage.

Responsibilities

• Manage low- and high-risk pregnancies
• Perform deliveries including cesarean section, breech, VBAC, and multiple births
• Repair third- and fourth-degree lacerations
• Provide office gynecology: IUD placement, colposcopy, LEEP, cryosurgery
• Perform surgical gynecology open procedures
• Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds
• Participate in 24-hour in-house call (all-inclusive)

Requirements

• Board-eligible or board-certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Current, unrestricted medical license
• Competency in high-risk obstetrics, operative vaginal delivery, and major gynecologic surgery
• Experience with OB ultrasound performance and interpretation

Schedule & volume

• 24-hour in-house call, all-inclusive
• Average 4.3 patients per day
• Approximately 8 calls per day (55 per week)
