MHE Operator (2nd Shift)

Principal Accountabilities

• Aid in stocking and retrieving merchandise using high lift materials handling equipment.
• Operate forklift trucks or reach trucks safely to transport merchandise to designated locations within the warehouse.
• Handle loading, unloading, and order picking tasks as needed.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• One year of experience preferred.

Knowledge & Application

• Basic level of education required.
• Reading, writing, and basic numeracy skills necessary.
• Follows simple instructions.
• No formal occupational training required.
• Non-office based roles may operate simple equipment under guidance and instruction.

• Encountered problems are defined, repetitive, and routine with solutions readily available.
• All nonstandard problems are referred to supervisor or more experienced incumbents.
• Solutions are obvious or have a finite number of clear-cut alternatives.
• Solutions can be reached and applied immediately.

• Interaction with others is limited to own team with little requirement for internal or external contact.
• Displays common courtesy and politeness.
• Uses basic verbal skills.

Impact

• Supports the achievement of goals through personal effort in own work area.

• Accountable for delivery of own tasks to agreed time and quality standards.
• Performance is measured frequently against predefined service level requirements or equivalent metric.

Hiring Range: $17.40 USD - $21.75 USD per hour
