About the role
The Division of Rutgers Arts Online, Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University invites applications for Lecturer and Coadjutant teaching positions in Visual Arts Online, Dance Online, Music Online, Filmmaking Online, Theater Online, and Interdisciplinary Online for Summer 2025.
Responsibilities
- Staff undergraduate or graduate level courses in Visual Arts Online, Dance Online, Music Online, Filmmaking Online, Theater Online, and Interdisciplinary Online.
- Teach fully online courses using the Canvas Learning Management System.
- Participate in professional development opportunities provided by the Division and the University.
Requirements
- Demonstrated specialization in one of the following areas: Visual Arts, Dance, Music, Filmmaking, Theater, or Interdisciplinary.
- Ability to teach undergraduate or graduate level courses.
- Experience with online teaching platforms such as Canvas.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in the relevant field is preferred.
- At least three years of teaching experience at the college level.
- Experience with online teaching methodologies.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with online learning management systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple courses.
