About the role

This role is in support of Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (DS) Enhanced Production and Integration Center. The role will have Management responsibilities for the production line assembly for one or more contracts. This role will be responsible for daily operations of a team or work unit (direct supervision of the staff, assignment of work, schedules, day to day workflow, and operating costs).

Responsibilities

• Provides direction to subordinates using established policies and precedents.
• Maintains daily operations of a team or work unit (direct supervision of the staff, assignment of work, schedules, day to day workflow, and operating costs).
• Monitors work operations of hourly employees on a daily basis and actively assists or provides direction to subordinates as required.

Requirements

• Prior exposure to manufacturing on DoD contracts
• Knowledge of the Lean Manufacturing production method
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
• Strong communication (both verbal and written)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and 5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment or 4 years in lieu of a degree
• Experience/knowledge of working within AS6500 Manufacturing Management Program standard
• Experience performing RCCA analysis in a manufacturing environment
• Basic data-analysis ability (Excel, Power BI, Tableau)

Pay

Primary Level Salary Range: $95,400.00 - $143,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
