About the Role

Responsible for the planning, supervision/staffing, and implementation of all phases of maintenance. Keeps all production equipment well-maintained and able to meet planning production schedules and goals. Maintains a world-class appearance to facilities and grounds. Facilitates the work of departmental personnel by providing leadership and training, enabling them to meet business group, departmental, and personal goals. Involved in all technical aspects of the design, installation, and operation of manufacturing equipment used in a complex manufacturing facility. Implements and maintains systems within the department that provide efficient operating procedures and data collection for decision-making, equipment and project justification, and departmental performance measurements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and implement all phases of maintenance.
• Maintain production equipment to meet planning production schedules and goals.
• Ensure facilities and grounds maintain a world-class appearance.
• Provide leadership and training to departmental personnel.
• Oversee technical aspects of manufacturing equipment design, installation, and operation.
• Implement and maintain efficient operating procedures and data collection systems.
• Manage facility improvements involving HVAC, gas handling, DI, robotics, wastewater treatment, and paint systems.

Requirements

• BS or BA degree in business or engineering.
• Advanced training or experience in mechanical, electrical, or plant engineering highly desirable.
• Six to eight years of experience managing maintenance responsibilities in a large manufacturing operation.
• Demonstrated experience and skill in providing technical leadership for facility improvements.
• Experience with technically challenging manufacturing processes and complex facility support systems.
• Demonstrated team development and leadership skills.
