About the role
We are looking for a proactive, adaptable, and communicative eRetail Manager to own end-to-end eRetail operations, PDP launches, and GWP/sampling execution. In this role, you will champion our retail partners, thrive in dynamic environments where you can build and test new processes, and collaborate cross-functionally across marketing, CMO, and account teams.
Responsibilities
- PDP Ownership & Site Excellence
- Launch Execution: Collaborate with the CMO team to ensure all new PDP launch packages are deployed on time (6–8 weeks prior to OCD). Monitor trackers, communicate proactively, and ensure all stakeholders have necessary deliverables.
- Post-Launch Audits: Own the 2026 New Launches Specialty Audit. Scrub live sites post-launch to ensure optimal presentation, identify asset/copy discrepancies, coordinate updates with CMO partners, and manage pricing changes.
- Review Syndication: Partner with marketing teams to verify that product reviews are successfully syndicated and live on retailer sites.
- GWP Calendar & Sampling Initiatives
- Account Planning: Work hand-in-hand with account leads and KAMs to plan comprehensive Gift with Purchase (GWP) and sampling calendars, intake forms, and vendor line lists across key department store partners (e.g., Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom, Kiehl's, and Lancôme).
- Bundle Creation & Coordination: Design promotional and commercial bundles using historical data and store planning insights. Coordinate with marketing and leadership to secure GWP-composed images and ensure complete customer-facing details (copy, qualifiers, sizing) are accurate.
- Item Set-Up Support: Provide account leads with timely, complete information to facilitate seamless item set-up with retail buying teams.
- Site Scrubs & Competitive Intelligence
- Competitive Monitoring: Conduct regular site scrubs and competitive shopping analyses (comparing L'Oréal brands against key competitors like Estée Lauder) during critical timeframes, key promotion moments, and holiday seasons.
- Priority Retailer Focus: Maintain deep visibility across our core accounts (Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, and Dillard's).
- Performance Tracking: Update Account Scoreboards (SBS) with commercial sampling participation and organic exposure, maintaining shared documentation in the CGO drive.
- Reporting & Media Acumen
- Data & Insights: Pull and analyze monthly site data (e.g., Nordstrom MoM) to contribute actionable insights for monthly reporting communications.
- Topline Reporting: Manage Monday topline reporting within the total eRetail file.
- Media Awareness: Understand and track digital media investments across retailers and retail media networks.
Requirements
- Proactive & Agile: Highly proactive communicator who thrives in fast-paced environments and embraces a "test & learn" mindset when formal processes are still evolving.
- Retailer-First Mentality: Exceptional commitment to retailer satisfaction and timely responsiveness.
- Cross-Functional Collaborator: Proven ability to build a strong internal network across marketing, CMO, and account teams to drive deliverables forward.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills with experience managing complex launch trackers, audits, and data reporting.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis is required. No immigration support/sponsorship offered for this role.
Benefits
- Competitive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and pension plan.
- Hybrid work policy: 3 days in office, 2 days work from home.
- Flexible time off: Paid company holidays, paid vacation, vacation buy program, volunteer time, summer Fridays, and more.
- Access to company perks: VIP access to L’Oréal’s internal shop for discounted products, monthly mobile allowance, discounted gym memberships, and employee resource groups.
- Learning & development opportunities: Unlimited access to e-learnings, lunch & learn sessions, mentorship programs, and more.
- Access to mental health & wellness programs.
