MGA / Programs Auditor

About the Opportunity

Olive James is partnering with a leading global insurance organization seeking a Programs Auditor to join its Delegated Authority team. This role is ideal for an auditor with commercial insurance experience who enjoys working cross-functionally and wants to join a collaborative team with significant growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute audits across delegated authority programs, including underwriting, claims, premium accounting, and policy administration.
• Evaluate internal controls and compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
• Identify operational risks and provide practical recommendations to strengthen controls and processes.
• Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to business stakeholders.
• Partner with underwriting and program management teams to support remediation efforts and process improvements.
• Monitor corrective actions and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of audit methodologies and best practices.
• Periodically travel to conduct program audits and support stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of audit experience, preferably within the insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance operations, including underwriting, claims, and policy administration.
• Experience auditing or working with MGAs/MGUs or delegated authority programs is highly preferred.
• CPCU, RPLU, or similar industry certifications are preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
